Continuing Physiotherapy throughout November lockdown

Yet again we find ourselves in strange times but I am pleased to be able to reassure everyone that I remain open and able to continue offering a high standard of care to all clients both human and animal. Following statements from both the government and my own governing bodies including the CSP (chartered society of Physiotherapy), RAMP (register of animal musculoskeletal practitioners) and ACPAT (association of chartered physiotherapists I’m animal therapy) it has been confirmed I can continue to work throughout the current lockdown November to December. I already have procedures in place to stay open including wearing of PPE for human home Physiotherapy visits, social distancing for animal Physiotherapy visits and COVID screening forms that are emailed to every client to complete at the time of booking. All of these procedures allow for a safe Physiotherapy service during this time and ongoing into the future for as long as they are needed. I do ask that prior to a home physiotherapy visit you limit the amount of other persons in the house/ room where possible and for outdoor Physiotherapy sessions horses are tied up in or outside the stable and owners maintain at least 2m distance.

I hope you are keeping well and as always if you have any questions, concerns or would like to book an appointment please do get in touch

Best wishes

Rebecca
